The Vitae ‘Three Minute Thesis’ challenges doctoral students to present a compelling spoken presentation on their research topic and it’s significance in just three minutes.

Developed originally by the University of Queensland, Australia, the competition is run in several countries and ̽ѡ is proud to offer our doctoral students the opportunity to compete for a chance to go through to the UK finals each year.

Local residents and prospective students are invited to join us and discover the research that our doctoral students are undertaking across our range of research specialisms in science, engineering and management.

For those attending in person, presentations will be followed by voting and the chance to enjoy refreshments and a chat with staff who are looking forward to meeting members of our local community. Prospective students are able to choose in-person or online attendance.

Registration is essential so that we can ensure seating capacities are adhered to in the venue.
